Lunchtime!! THE TORPEDO MONKEYS were founded in the „Republic of Chimpistan“, more precisely in Apesville. It is located somewhere between Essen and Gelsenkirchen in the Ruhrpott area in Germany. The influences for their thrashing R´n´R-garage-sound range from Elvis to The Fuzztones. When you see the ape-men live for the first time, you’ll be surprised as well as thrilled.
On their second album „Torpedo Monkeys to go…“, which will be released in January 2010 on the German indie-label „RILREC“, the monkeys demonstrate their ability to convince on record as well live on stage with their incredible and unforgettable performances.
